Urgent - We Need Your Help Please Read

The Cincinnati VA Homeless Facility closed on March 20, vacating all residents which were self-admitted. Some Veterans were able to relocate to a family or friend's home, the other 50 Veterans were found housing at St. Joseph House in Cincinnati thanks to the NKY Military Veterans Coalition. The date the Veterans can return to the VA is unknow at this point.  The Joseph House facility has limited amenities and only funds to provide 2 square meals per day. Beginning 3/21/2020, the Florence Elks Lodge 314 and American Legion Post 4 have joined forces to provide our Veterans with a daily lunch meal. For as little as $5.00 per day, per person lunch can be provided. We will deliever these meals at our own personal travel cost, but need your help to ensure these 50 Veterans are taken care of for as many weeks as possible. Please consider donating to these efforts because we are stronger together. To donate or additional information please call or text:

Mandy Cummins (Florence Elks Lodge 314 - Exaited Ruler - Elect) or Faye Fayson (American Legion Post 4 Commander)

Thank you and may God Bless America and our Veterans
